Bleed Her White consists of different images of a female body. On top of which wound like forms fused in glass are imposed. The wounds are like lesions on skin and represent the body being de-sexualized.

These ‘wounds’ are being inflicted, but one can also see them as wounds ‘oozing’ from the skin. There is a tension between the inner and outer body. From one point we see them being inflicted upon and from the other, it is the body itself which leaks and bleeds. In an attempt to repress the female sexuality the opposite is occurring, it is now prominent and unconcealed.
